For the second day in a row, the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University is holding a solemn Academy on awarding diplomas to this year’s master’s graduates. Today, graduates of the faculties of psychology, tourism, physical education and sports, management, history, political science and international relations, mathematics and computer science, and natural sciences received their diplomas.
The Acting Rector of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, Professor Ihor Tsependa, addressed the graduates with a welcoming speech: “I congratulate our master’s graduates on this significant event! Receiving a diploma is an important stage in the life of everyone who has persistently acquired knowledge in order to embark confidently on a professional path. Your graduation is special, because your student years were spent in extremely difficult conditions. However, you showed resilience, courage and stayed with Ukraine in the most difficult times.
The future of our state depends on your knowledge, dedication to the cause, and life position. Today we honored the memory of our friends, students and university graduates who gave their lives defending Ukraine. This is something that should always live in our memory. We, like no one else, realize the price of independence and human life. It is for the sake of their memory that we must work every day, making every effort to strengthen and build our state.
During the years of study, your teachers sought not only to convey knowledge to you, but also to teach you to think critically, to distinguish truth from manipulation, and not to succumb to populism. We are proud that we were with you for five years. Nevertheless, even after completing your studies, you remain part of our large university family. It will always be important for us to hear your thoughts, receive feedback, and work together to make our university even better. This is our common duty – to strengthen and develop the university that gave you a ticket to life.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to my colleagues – teachers, who have invested their knowledge, experience and soul in you throughout all these years. Education is the painstaking work of both the teacher and the student. The university has always stood and will stand on this foundation.
I sincerely wish you not only professional success, but also a peaceful, happy life. May the best years await you ahead! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!
In response, the master’s graduates expressed their gratitude to the teachers for the knowledge and practical experience gained during their studies.
A first-year student of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Arts, Tetyana Hirna, gave a musical gift to the graduates. The dance ensemble “Dyvotsvit” also performed on stage with the choreographic composition “Colors of the Carpathians” (director – Olga Kvetsko).
We congratulate our master’s graduates on an important achievement! We wish you new achievements, professional growth and bright opportunities in the future. May the knowledge gained become a solid foundation for your success!
