Patriotic educational event on the occasion of Unity Day

On February 16, 2025, as part of the production historical and local history practice at the Center for Tourism and Local History of Student Youth of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, students of the SOI-21 group, specialty 014 Secondary Education (History) of the OR “Bachelor” Khrystyna Bezverkhiv and Sofia Dychka held an educational event on the topic “We are united!” on the occasion of Unity Day for the students of the “Young Tourists-Local History” group (group leader – Pavlyuk Natalia Vasylivna).

The purpose of the event is to familiarize the students of the group with the concept of “unity”, its meaning for Ukraine and Ukrainian society in general. During the lesson, the “Living Chain” of 1990 was highlighted as a symbol of the unity of Ukrainians in the struggle for independence. The participants also joined the flash mob “Yellow-Blue Heart”, creating a symbolic heart in national colors.

In addition, patriotic poems were read, emphasizing love for the Motherland and the strength of the national spirit. It was concluded that unity is the basis of our strength and the future of Ukraine.
