Meaningful patriotic event “Heavenly Hundred: Heroes Never Die”

On February 18, 2025, the Stepan Bandera Center for Patriotic Education of Student Youth of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council hosted an educational event “Heavenly Hundred: Heroes Do Not Die”. It was prepared as part of the production historical and local history practice and the citywide project “We are from Ukraine” by Yulia Vladyka, a student of the SOI-21 group of the specialty “Secondary Education (History)” of the Bachelor’s degree program. This event was not just a tribute to the feat of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, but also a deep understanding of their struggle and contribution to the history of Ukraine.

A historical excursion into the tragic and heroic events of the Revolution of Dignity was held for 11th grade students. With the help of a multimedia presentation and video materials that reflected the events on the Maidan, Hrushevskoho and Instytutska streets in Kyiv, the club members were able to see with their own eyes and remember the sacrifice and courage of the Ukrainian people in the fight for freedom and dignity.

This event not only honored the memory of the fallen Heroes, but also became an important page in the formation of national consciousness among young people, instilling respect for the historical past and understanding the value of freedom and democracy.
