On February 17, 2025, the leading specialist of the Institute of History, Ethnology and Archaeology of the Carpathians Bohdan Paska took part in the next meeting of the expert commission on the civic and historical educational branch of the Ukrainian Institute for the Development of Education. The meeting was chaired by Professor of the Department of History of the Ancient World and the Middle Ages of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Doctor of Historical Sciences Vadym Anatoliyovych Rubel. The secretary was the methodologist of the Department of Educational Content of the Ukrainian Institute for the Development of Education, Vsevolod Sergiyenko.
During the meeting, 6 objects of grading were considered – textbooks from the educational courses “History of Ukraine”, “World History”, “History: Ukraine and the World”, intended for 8th grade students. Bohdan Paska presented for the commission’s consideration a certificate on the revision of the textbook “History of Ukraine” for grade 8 (authors Shchupak I., Starchenko N., Burlaka O., Vlasova N., Galushko K., Dribnytsia V., Zheliba O., Krongauz V., Piskareva I., Repan O., Sekyrinsky D., Cherkas B.). The conclusion of the expert was supported and approved by the expert commission. The commission recommended that the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine grant a stamp to the above-mentioned textbook, as well as to all other submitted objects of stamp.
