Opening of the next exposition of the exhibition project “Carpathian Visions”

On April 13, the opening of the next exhibition of the exhibition project “Carpathian Visions” took place in the Palace of Arts of the Drohobych Museum in the city of Drohobych.

The exhibition is the fourth and final in presenting the collection of artworks of twelve practicing teachers of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Arts, representing the Department of Design and Art Theory; the Department of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts and Restoration and the Department of Teaching Methods of Fine and Decorative and Applied Arts and Design.

In the halls of the architectural monument of the early 20th century. “Villa Bianca” about 50 works of painting, author’s experimental graphics, collage, art textiles and artistic metal are exhibited.

The head of the European Art Department, Lesya Khomych, moderated the event.

The Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Arts, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Fedorak, Doctors of Art History, Professors Oleg Chuyko, Nadiya Babiy, Honored Artist of Ukraine, Professor Bohdan Hubal, presented the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian (Prykarpattia) National University at the opening.

The following delivered welcoming remarks: Director of the Museum Alla Gladun, Head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Drohobych City Council – Volodymyr Khanas.

Volodymyr Fedorak noted that the presented collection demonstrates different styles and techniques of artists-teachers representing the creative community of the educational institution. These are works of high-class masters, creative personalities that have already taken place. Daily pedagogical and creative work, search do not stop even despite the current terrible realities. Behind the shoulders of each of the participants are personal exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad – in the countries of Europe, North America, wonderful creative achievements.

You can view and admire the exposition of the exhibition “Carpathian Visions” in the halls of the “Palace of Arts”, the exhibition will last for a month.
